Two Hereford cows eating fodder from the ground

Hereford cattle in Spain are as rare affordable land. There is one herd in the whole country. For the past years, I managed them. I used old Spanish genetics and also brought in new ones from Ireland. Then, I tried to adapt them to the new environment to eventually outperform the Spanish cattle. I even tried some crosses with Wagyu.

They did really well, and it is still a miracle, how there are so few in Spain. Once adapted, they fit in really well, bring good calves and performance while resisting extreme environments.

If you are interested in this breed, but you’re not sure how to adapt them to your environment, just give me, Jaime Galiana, a call or text me at +34 646 76 38 10

About Spanish breeding

Extreme Spanish climate has upsides and downsides. I use it to produce extremely fit and adapted cattle.
